Electorate Tea Towels

One summer day back in 2018, Debra set out on a mission to design a Tea Towel for every suburb in Brisbane… 5 years and about 40 tea towels later, Debra realised she was only 20% of the way through her mission (there are 190 suburbs in Brisbane!). A spark of genius (and an idea from a lovely member of parliament) saw Debra change tactics and as a result she has finally conquered designed them all.

Introducing Debra Hood Art’s new Electorate Tea Towels! Debra and her team scoured the streets of every suburb looking for examples of all house styles old and new. Available in off-white or black on a linen/cotton blend and screen printed in Bowen Hills.
